French artist Pierre Huyghe installation includes ancient living species and Palaeolithic rocks in an aquarium with changing walls. The artist lifted some pavers from the rooftop that remind us of the fondation of Manhattan skyscapers. He travels through time and the planet history. The creatures that swim in the aquarium have not changed for millions of years. Pierre Huyghe is the third artist commissioned by The Metropolitan Museum of Art to create site-specific work for the Roof Garden. He follows Imran Qureshi and Dan Graham.
