{"id":9854,"date":"2019-08-02T08:04:12","date_gmt":"2019-08-02T07:04:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sculpture-nature_local.test\/?p=9854"},"modified":"2019-08-02T13:57:35","modified_gmt":"2019-08-02T12:57:35","slug":"richard-serra-qatari-desert-sculpture","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/sculpture-nature_local.test\/en\/richard-serra-qatari-desert-sculpture\/","title":{"rendered":"<i>East-West\/West-East<\/i>: <br>Richard Serra in the Qatari&nbsp;Desert"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Set in a natural corridor formed by gypsum plateaus,<i> East-West\/West-East <\/i>spans over a kilometre in length, and crosses the peninsula of the Brouq Nature Reserve connecting the waters of the Gulf. <em>East-West\/West-East<\/em> consists of four steel plates measured by their relation to the topography. The plates, which rise to 14.7 metres and 16.7 metres above the ground, are level to each other; they are also level to the gypsum plateaus on either side.
