Tuileries Garden: Penone, Moore, Dubuffet and many more…

Artworks - 30/03/2016 - Article : Dominique Haim - Photos : Dominique Haim

Did you know that while visiting the Tuileries Garden you can discover year round sculptures by artists such as Giuseppe Penone, Henri Laurens, Etienne Martin, Gaston Lachaise or Germaine Richier?

Often times public commissions, or loans from the Fonds national d’art contemporain (French National Foundation for Contemporary Art), foundations or museums, these sculptures are for the most part emblematic works such as Le Baiser by Rodin, Recycling Figures by Henry Moore, L’Arbre des voyelles by Penone or Le Bel costume, a white, red, black and blue resin sculpture by Jean Dubuffet: a small museum of sculpture’s greatest names in one of Paris’s most beautiful gardens.
