An hour drive north of New York City, Storm King Art Center, one of the largest sculpture parks in the United States, is dedicated to integrating monumental installations in a magnificent landscape, amidst the fields, the hills and the woodlands. It provides the setting for a collection of more than a hundred sculptures dating from the end of WWII to present days, by artists such as Alexander Calder, Mark di Suvero, Richard Serra\u2026<\/p>\n
Storm King hosts the works of some of the greatest contemporary artists and offers a discovery program called \u201cOutlooks\u201d which allows young creators to display their work for a season. Storm King Art Center just celebrated its 50th<\/sup> anniversary. David Collens has been its director and curator since 1976.<\/p>\n
