It’s her first public commission in the United States.  Italian artist Tatiana Trouvé was inspired by the miles of pedestrian paths running across Central Park. She mesured 212 walks and created three large-scale storage racks to house spools of ropes, each the length of a different path. Their names are drawn from cultural and historic events related to walking.
